Hospital in Cap-Haitian

This project was started to focus on providing health care and nutritional assistance to women and children. In particular, the hospital will help women throughout their entire pregnancy. Beginning with the first stages of pregnancy the Dr. will set the woman up with a nutritional plan, a WIC program. This will give them food and prenatal vitamins. After giving birth, the program will extend for a year and continue to provide food and vitamins to the mothers and babies.

A Gynecologist who was born in Haiti, Dr. Amos Pierre, resides in Cap Haitian and is prepared to be the Dr. on hand once the hospital is complete.

Furthermore, the future for the hospital has no limits. ASEBED hopes to have the hospital specialize in treatments and aid for patients with HIV, AIDS, and TB.

House of Angels Orphanage

Nancy Pierre, the wife of Dr. Pierre who will run the Hospital in Cap-Haitian, has decided to turn her mother's nearby home into an orphanage. She hopes it will be up and running by the summer of 2012. She plans on living in the top floor of the building and having volunteers work and stay with the children who are staying at the 'House of Angels.'

The ultimate goal of the House of Angels is to feed, clothe, nourish, provide shelter, and educate all of the underprivileged children it can house.
